AL PWX 5A
Power supply module
Microprocessor power supply module with current-controlled output up to 5A for precise control of the braking torque on powder and electromagnetic brakes, regardless of the brake temperature variations.
Analog inputs and outputs (tension or current) are referred to the torque set point and control output, while the digital inputs are programmed for direct control of the main functions with communication via Modbus RTU protocol on RS485 serial interface. Both programmable demagnetization function and the control of pneumatic brakes via EP converter are available.
Also available in special version for simple and cost-effective closed loop applications, with dancer roller or load cells analogue signal feedback.

Easy control module
Smart and effective device suitable for solving any technical issue in web tension control.
Simple design for installation on DIN bar, 1,8” graphic display for setting and monitoring working parameters, 4 dedicated configuration keys, complete setting via guided menus for any kind of application in open or closed loop and a set of dedicated PID parameters to better manage each production process: these are the main features that allow to define this device as easy control module.
Like the power-supply modules, the AL PWX II controller can control both electromagnetic brakes and pneumatic brakes via EP converter. Finally, the controller is equipped with programmable alarm outputs and Modbus RTU communication interface on RS485 serial interface.
