EP CONVERTER
Transducer
The EP Converter converts the electrical signal received from the controller into a pneumatic value input to be sent to the pneumatic brake. Consequently, the EP Converter adjusts the torque, or RPM if motor, to obtain the web tension required.
The transducer can be used for the web tension control in closed-loop systems and the open-loop system. Thanks to its compact dimensions it can be easily placed near the brake it is connected to, in order to obtain the maximum performance.
The EP Converter is included within the Isobox tension control box and can be configured to work with load cells, dancer or ultrasonic sensor.
